Our Location
The guesthouse "4 Epoches" is conveniently located only a few steps from the most central point of Zagora, the Agios Georgios square, hosting the historical church of Agios Georgios, built in 1765, one of the most important monuments of the village, as well as variety of cozy and traditional cafes and tavernas.
Two of the most important sights of Zagora, the school of Rigas and the historical library of Zagora are also less than 10 minutes walk from the square.

Our guests may park their cars at the spacious public parking lot next to the square and take a pleasant walk to the guest house or use an alternative route around the square to access the house’s private parking.
A few words about Zagora
Located in the green eastern slopes of Pelion with spectacular views to the Aegean Sea, Zagora is the largest and most historical village of East Pelion, located 45 km east of Volos.
Renowned for its rich cultural heritance and its apple fields, Zagora reached its economical and cultural peak during the Middle Ages and the 17th and 18th century, as an important trading, craft and cultural center.
The houses in Zagora are typically built according to folk architecture of the 17th and 18th centuries, with decorated false windows, carved wood doors and Intels.

The most attractive sights are the School of Rigas, the first scool of Pelion, founded in the 17th century,as well as the beautiful churches of Agia Paraskevi, Agios Georgios, Agia Kyriaki and Agios Nikolaos. The library of Zagora with thousands of rare books is also of great interest
Zagora offers an excellent selection of taverns and bars around the square of Agios Georgios and is ideally positioned to visit the stunning beaches at Elitsa and Agioi Saranda, in addition to the more cosmopolitan Chorefto and Agios loannis. The Pelion ski resort at a short driving distance, making Zagora and ideal destination for both Summer and Winter getaways.
